Learning through play & structured teaching
We understand government guide lines on education and as caring professionals we can continue the learning experiences you have begun at home, through play and structured teaching.
We follow the same statutory curriculum as state settings throughout the nursery. As we are open all year and for longer hours than the state settings, we are able to work at a pace tailored to your childs needs
The Early Years Foundation Stage consists of six areas of which are:
- Personal, social and emotional
- Communication, language and literacy
- Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
- Physical development
- Creative development
We ensure that every child has the appropriate access to each area through a process of observation and planning. This enables us to provide a balance, structured curriculum designed around your child.
