Experience and development
It is very important for children to experience a sense of continuity and belonging within the nursery, in the same way as they would within a family. To help this we follow a
Key Worker system
Each child is assigned to a small group
with a key worker, this will be their own
special group within the nursery. Each
day they spend time doing a variety
of fun activities with their key worker group,
as well as joining together with the whole
nursery for group activities such as
singing, entertainment or playtime.
Our Key worker system allows the
children to progress through the nursery
in the company of friends of the same age.
Because of our "Home from Home" environment" all children get to know all staff members, this helps children with progression through groups.

Keeping you informed
We share each small step of your child’s development with you through regular chats and frequent meetings*, with daily diaries for the under 2’s. In addition send out a monthly newsletter and arrange social events for parents and staff to attend.
*As part of the E.Y.F.S framework every child has the personal profile which records & leads their development & progress. These are available for parents to view on demand. These profiles consist of photos, observations, quarterly summaries & artwork.
