Preparing for school
When your child turns 3 they will join our pre-school group, it is in this group that we prepare your child for their transition to school.
The pre-school day is very similar to that of the tweenies, but with more structure. We have a full time qualified nursery teacher, who leads the pre-school throughout the day.
The pre-school children in our nursery benefit from *half hour adult led ‘lesson’ each day that follows the statutory EYFS.
Our nursery is registered with Bristol City Council to receive the government grant for pre-school age children.

Keeping you informed
We share each small step of your child’s development with you through regular chats and frequent meetings**, with daily diaries for the under 2’s. In addition send out a monthly newsletter and arrange social events for parents and staff to attend.
* Morning & Afternoon 45min sessions
**As part of the E.Y.F.S framework every child has the personal profile which records & leads their development & progress. These are available for parents to view on demand. These profiles consist of photos, observations, quarterly summaries & artwork.
